Happy New Years Eve!
Here are the girls in their new Nanny-made sweaters outside our house.
I will be making a third attempt at my 365 Project, and I've started a new blog:

Days 362-364, Almost Done!
Day 362, December 28/09
Sophie's new Robeez! I love them, I think they're probably the cutest ones she's had so far! (We won't mention that, although she's 3 years old... these are size 18-24 months...)
Day 363, December 29/09
Molly is such a good poser! It never ceases to amaze me. If only the 3 year old would take a hint from the dog, I'd be a happy photographer :)
Day 364, December 30/09
Went to the mall (BY MYSELF!) after dinner tonight to spend my Christmas money! I bought a new purse (although I'd gone to buy a "big girl" purse, I ended up liking this purple leather bag the best, it has a kind of messenger-bag strap), and three books! I also got each of the girls a book, because I had a coupon to save $10 if I spent $50... Emma got the first "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book (on several recommendations from friends that they're great for kids her age) and Sophie got a new Dora book.

Days 354-361, Winding Down
Day 354, December 20/09
Lily on top of the cat house. She looks excited to have her picture taken, don't you think?
Day 355, December 21/09
The girls & Shane made some crafts this morning. This is Emma's Christmas tree. It says "Merry Christmas" across the ribbons.
Day 356, December 22/09
More crafts! These "canvas" painting sets came from Michaels, and I think they were about $5.00 each. Emma's started out as a butterfly & some flowers, and its finished product looks like a colourful butterfly & flowers. Sophie's started out as a unicorn & some flowers, but it's a bit more abstract now :)
Here is Emma opening her Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie DVD, she was pretty excited, as she hadn't asked for it.

After present opening, we drove up to Kitchener to be with Brad, Trish, Cole, Mom & Dad. Sophie & Cole got matching Handy Manny pj's, and here they are relaxing and watching (aptly enough) Handy Manny.

Days 345 - 353
Day 345, December 11/09
New hair! It's much darker & shorter than it was before. I'm pretty happy with it! (The photo was taken by Emma)
Day 346, December 12/09
Our Christmas party with Uncle Gary. We set up the tripod & put the camera on delay. You should have heard the chorus of "cheese!" for those 10 seconds! I really thought we had little to no chance of getting a good photo, but I was really quite happy with the results!
Day 347, December 13/09
Gingerbread men and trees at Bill & Goldies. The girls had a very fun time. The photo was taken by me on Bill's camera.
Day 350, December 16/09
It's so awesome to me that Emma can actually read a story to her sister!
Day 351, December 17/09
Christmas Concert night! Emma's class didn't do anything this year in the Concert, but she joined the Choir, so we got to see her sing "We Need a Little Christmas" for everyone. The kids had bells hidden in one of their hands, and about 1/2 way through they whipped them out to play, and you could just tell Emma was waiting specifically for that part!
Unfortunately, we were seated quite far back in the gym, and we ended up at the opposite side from Emma, so the photos I took weren't great. It didn't help either that the two old ladies in front of me kept moving their heads into my line of sight, and getting their white fluffy hair into my shot!!!
Day 353, December 19/09
The girls & I went to see the Nutcracker at the Empire Theatre today with Mom and Aunt Dorothy. A lovely time was had by all!

Days 336-343
(I'm noticing as I type this that the small versions of these photos seem especially grainy, please don't forget that you can see a bigger, better quality version of the photos by clicking on them.)
Day 336, December 2/09
She's excited because there's ROOT BEER in that cup.
Day 338, December 4/09
A girl, her cat & her DS. What more could you want?
Day 339, December 5/09
She's so funny when she turns her head like that!! All you have to do is say "Molly" a couple times & she just does it.
Day 340, December 6/09
Tracey, Carmen & Connor came over for a "Christmas" visit today. I was very excited to get the elusive 4-child-photo! They are all looking and mostly smiling! Yay!
Day 341, December 7/09
Sophie was making a "bed" on the floor. She is wearing her new Minnie Mouse pj's from Carmen & Connor, she LOVES them!
Day 342, December 8/09
It snowed last night, so Emma got to wear her whole snowsuit to school today!
Day 343, December 9/09
Today was a Snow Day (a well deserved one as well), so the girls & I did some painting crafts. They had a fun time, and there wasn't even that much clean-up afterwards!

Days 331-335
Day 331, November 27/09
Sophie was wearing one of Emma's hair clips today, so she wanted me to take a picture so she could see it. But then she wouldn't actually sit still or look at the camera, so this is how it turned out...
Day 332, November 28/09
I admit that I did not take this photo, but it was such a miracle that this happened today that I couldn't possibly NOT use it as my POD. We went to the Santa Claus Parade this afternoon, but the mail people were not there collecting Santa letters... so we went to the mall to drop the letters off in the drop box. Sophie had been saying that she DID NOT want to sit on Santa's lap for a couple weeks, but today she decided she was "not scared! I want to sit on Santa's lap!" So, we sent them up there, and she jumped right up & told Santa all about what she wanted for Christmas, and turned with a big smile for the photo and everything! We COULD NOT believe it. I'm still a bit in shock, to be honest. It probably had a bit to do with Emma being there for moral support.
Day 333, November 29/09
Emma decided to have story time on the couch today. We quickly realized that Horton Hears a Who is a bit advanced for her to read on her own, and it's quite long as well..
Day 335, December 1/09
We put the decorations on our tree tonight, and of course took some photos! This is my favourite, even though I cut off Sophie's left arm. We MAY be using this one for our Christmas Cards.

Days 328-330
Day 328, November 24/09
Shane put out the Christmas decorations today, and Sophie NEEDED to go outside to turn them on (the remote is in her hands).
Day 329, November 25/09
I got tomorrow's dinner ready today... Crock Pot Pork Tenderloin with sweet potatoes, apples & cranberries. It cooked all day, and it was... ok.
