Day 302, October 29/09
I'm not sure exactly what kind of game this is... but Sophie told me it was her "very fun game". I was just glad she didn't hurt herself!

Day 303, October 30/09
Emma & Molly. I've given up on trying to make Molly get off the couch... as long as she's being nice she's allowed to stay...


Day 304, October 31/09
Happy Halloween! Emma is Silvermist (a Disney Fairy) and Sophie is Tinker Bell. Sophie only got as far as the road for trick-or-treating though... Well, at least she put on her costume this year! Small steps.

Days 300 & 301

Emma & her penguin, had her shower & in her jammies; ready for bed!

Day 301, October 28/09
It was Open House for Sophie tonight. She's so funny, she basically talked the whole class. She was waiting for "5 Little Ducks" for the entire 1/2 hour, (they do it last). She was calling it her "Pool Dance" (pool, pond, what's the difference when you're 3???) and we couldn't figure out what she was talking about.

Just Emma! I was just playing with the flash; trying to get the whole portrait style photo without creating huge shadows.

Fall fun in the leaves! I love this one, except that the house is totally tilted :( I tried to rotate it a bit, but it cut off too much of the girls. If I was better at Photoshop I could probably clone it out, or at least blur it... but I am hopeless at Photoshop.

Open House! I almost forgot. Actually, I DID forget, and then was reminded by a DDM status update on Facebook... So then I called Grandma who offered to take Sophie while I went to watch Emma dance. So, it all worked out great!

A photo of Lily with her eyes open! It's a tiny miracle, right in my living room!!

A grumpy girl who doesn't wish to have her photo taken... as per the usual. Her new trick is running over here and hiding as soon as she sees the camera...


Day 291, October 18/09
Shane and Sophie are making a beautiful iron-bead person. This was definitely the craft of the weekend, I think Emma made four of them...


Day 292, October 19/09
Sophie playing "Pet Pals" on her "DS" (ie Leapster) while Emma is at dance class. She told me her doggy is named Princess Pet Pal.

Days 282-288

Laziest. Dog. Ever.
And, might I add: she's not supposed to be on the couch without her blanket down... and yet, there she is... without a blanket in sight!!

Day 283, October 10/09
Thanksgiving dinner at the Boulton's! The kids played bowling before dinner.

Day 284, October 11/09
Annual Thanksgiving trip to Campbell's orchards! It was COLD, but very sunny. We got lots of apples & some of us went on a wagon ride. (Not Sophie, of course).

Day 285, October 12/09
Thanksgiving dinner at the Burt's. This was as close to a three-child-photo as I got... none of them were much in the mood for photo-taking.

My poor husband and the dog out in the cold. Although, I'm really not sure why he feels the need to go out with her... seriously, she's a dog. I'm pretty sure she can figure out how to "do her business" on her own.

This is Wave of Light day. I lit a candle at 7:00pm for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance.

Day 278, October 5/09
This is Sophie's new door-hanging that Grandma made her. It has the same fairies & fabric from her quilt. She was very excited!

Day 279, October 6/09
Two seconds before I took this one, Sophie was standing at the TV watching Handy Manny & doing a little dance with her bum... it was so cute I tried to catch her with the camera... but of course I wasn't fast enough, and got her saying "NO PICTURES MOMMY!" instead... Story of my life...

Day 281, October 8/09
Hooray! Maplelea Girls chose one of my photos for the catalogue; the note and (seven) copies of the magazine arrived today in the mail, along with a $50 gift certificate for Emma to pick something new for her Brianne doll.

New Hannah Montana jammies!! She was pretty excited about them; I left them on her bed as a surprise.

Molly has now figured out that she can actually go up the stairs... much to our dismay.

Doing all her work on the computer at Grandma & Papa's.
