Day 117, April 27/09
We're starting to get ready for Emma's birthday party. The first step was to book the party at Misuraca Karate (they have rock climbing and a zip line). Now we've gotten the invitations ready as well.

The tulips on the front of the house haven't opened yet. But the ones on the side and back of the house are WAY open, and some are dying!

Days 113-116

Day 113, April 23/09
She's about to say "No kissies!" Then we kiss her anyway, and she wipes it off. Then we say "Don't you wipe off my kissies!" and kiss her again. Repeat.

Day 114, April 24/09
This is her bag that she coloured herself. She puts all her treasures in it and carries it all around the house.


Day 115, April 25/09
Sophie loves to stand there and watch her shows. Mostly Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Handy Manny.

Day 116, April 26/09

This is a very busy photo, but I love the looks on their faces! They are doing the "ice cube dance" (ie, they have an ice cube down their shirts).

Day 111, April 21/09
Sophie hiding under the table. I think she was trying to get away from all the complaining that was happening on top of the table, as Emma did not really much wish to do her homework tonight.

We went for another bike ride today. Sophie wanted to wear her sunglasses, but they didn't quite make it CORRECTLY onto her face. But she wouldn't let us fix them...

Emma made me this beautiful clay and rhinestone flower.

It was another beautiful day today, so the girls wore their new springtime outfits.

Day 109, April 19/09

Any guesses what this is??

It's the window gel-clings. The cat WOULD NOT leave them alone, and I got tired of picking them up off the floor (or wherever else she was leaving them). I was also worried she'd eat one and get sick...

I said "Show me a mad face" and this is what I got. It came with sound-effects and everything (ie. "Grrrr")

Days 101-105

Day 101, April 11/09
This is Lily sitting in one of the bags that the girls' Easter gifts came in. I was wrapping, and Lily was hiding.
Still can't get a shot of her with her eyes open, however....

Day 102, April 12/09
Happy Easter Sunday! The Easter Bunny was smart this year and put the chocolate in plastic eggs so that Lily wouldn't get any. Poor Sophie was too sick to really enjoy the hunt this year.


Day 103, April 13/09
The girls and I stayed home today. Emma didn't have school (Easter Monday), and Sophie was still sick :( It must be spring, though... the flowers are starting to blossom. This was as far outside as I got today.

Day 104, April 14/09

We put up the springtime window gel-clings today. They were squishy and weird, but they look ok on the window. I hope Lily doesn't eat them. I doubt that they're non-toxic....

I am re-reading the Twilight series. I'm currently on the fourth (and final) book Breaking Dawn. I'm not sure if IT'S my favourite, or if Eclipse is. I kinda like the way everything gets "wrapped up" in Breaking Dawn... Either way, I am proudly a Twilight Nerd!
Day 98, April 8/09
Emma brought home her Easter Eggs that she coloured at school, along with the little yellow chick & their nest. I'm AMAZED that the eggs made it to & from school without any major incident!



Day 100!! April 10/09
Happy Good Friday. We went to Mom & Dad's for dinner, with Brad, Trish & Cole. My attempts at a three-child photo weren't totally unsuccessful this time!

We had an exciting day today. We took a "field trip" to Oshawa and went to Build A Bear. We left with a lovely Lammy (Sophie's) and Gabriella (Emma's) and with a lot less of our $$. It was a fun day!



Day 95, April 5/09
Got out for our first bike ride/walk of the season! This is the first time Sophie has been big enough to ride the trike. She had a great time! She was telling everyone that she was "doing it all by myself!" It didn't really feel that way on MY end, but as long as she was having fun....

It's pouring rain today, (my day off - even though it's Wednesday), so Sophie & I decided to stay in. I sat her in front of the window & took some photos. This one is my favourite (even though her head is cut off a bit) because it really shows her personality.
