Days 84 & 85

Day 84, March 25/09
Emma set herself up at the dining room table and was asking for "customers". Shane volunteered, and she told him all about how to eat healthy. Apparently that means you eat only corn, carrots and chicken. Coincidentally, they are all "c" foods.

Day 85, March 26/09
Sophie was enjoying playing in the cupboard today.

Days 79-83

Day 79, March 20/09
Sophie used her grapes at dinner to make a "callapilla" (caterpillar).

Day 80, March 21/09
They are posing like supermodels. I tried to do "fashion photography angle", but it didn't work out quite as I planned.

Day 81, March 22/09
Emma has "cheesy popcorn teeth".

Day 82, March 23/09
Even though she refuses to let me take an open-eyed photo, I still think she's pretty cute.

Day 83, March 24/09
Tonight was "make your owns" (although, I guess it's more "choose your owns" for the girls, who do not, as of yet, have any dinner-making skills), so Emma is having a Buffalo Chicken bite, fries, and spagetti.

Days 77 & 78

Day 77, March 18/09
Kitty Kissies
Day 78, March 19/09
Had a visit with Tracey, Carmen & Connor today. Emma had a super fun time trying to get Connor to smile!

Days 74, 75, 76

Day 74, March 15/09
I'm not sure if Sophie pulled Lily onto her lap, or if Lily went there willingly - but, in any case, Sophie was very excited that Lily STAYED there for more than 2 seconds!

Day 75, March 16/09
Emma fell on what's left of the ice in our backyard yesterday and sprained her wrist. It wasn't "better" today, so she needed some ice.

Day 76, March 17/09
My new car! Wooooo! I LOVE my new car!!!!

Days 70, 72 & 73

We had a crazy week, with a terrible stomach flu that went almost all the way through the house (Emma has escaped unscathed so far... knock on wood), so I missed several days. Whoops.

Day 70, March 11/09
As per Ms Sheri's instruction, Emma has been practicing her "back flips" (haha, backwards somersaults!) Day 72, March 13/09
Happy Birthday Sydney!!
This is Emma just before bedtime. I didn't realize until I uploaded the photos to my computer that the depth of field is all wacky... only her nose is in focus! Not sure how I managed that one. But, wow - her nose is REALLY in focus.

Day 73, March 14/09
"Go Leafs GOOOOOOO!" She so wanted to "watch-a hockey game!"

Days 67 & 68

Day 67, March 8/09
Sophie was not feeling well today, so we stayed home and had a quiet day. Shane and Emma played Wii Mario Kart for most of the afternoon, and Sophie played "computer".

Day 68, March 9/09
Sophie was still not feeling well and Emma had an "Ice Day" home from school. So, I had a home day as well! (And, actually, Shane is ill as well, so he was home & sleeping all day). While Sophie was napping, Emma and I played with the camera. This one was my favourite! I'm posting lots more in my picasa albums though, so you can check there as well!

Days 61 through 66

Day 61, March 2/09
I told her "Wash your face!"

Day 62, March 3/09
Sophie is loving the puzzles right now! She's getting pretty good at them too, we didn't help her at all with this one.

Day 63, March 4/09
This is what happens when we leave the kitty alone - she tries to eat the kids books.

Day 64, March 5/09
This was Emma's headband, but it was way too small for her, so she gave it to Sophie. It seems it was too small for Sophie as well, about 2 seconds after I took this one, the headband flipped out of her hair...

Day 65, March 6/09
Bedtime story!

Day 66, March 7/09
Tried very hard to get a nice photo of the girls... wasn't going to happen today, apparently.

Days 57, 58 & 60

Day 57, February 26/09
Emma got a new Bratz remote-control skidoo, and she let Sophie "help" her play.

Day 58, February 27/09
Today was "Wacky Hair Day" at school. This is about as "wacky" as we get around here.

Day 59.... whoops.

Day 60, March 1/09
A new activity kit is always a hit!
